Welcome To ME

Once again, thank you for visiting my web page.  I'm not sure what to tell you about myself.  Since the focus of my site is poetry, I will say that I have been writing poems for quite some time now.  I have had several poems published in small magazines, and books.   I am trying diligently to have my collections of poetry and children's books published, but it is not as easy as you think.  My hope is that this website will help in that endeavor.

I have been a born again Christian for since I was 17.  My conversion story is one of my favorite stories to tell, so if by chance you ever meet me, please ask about it and I will give you the abridged version (that is the same as the long version, but I tell it really fast).

I do have to say something that is very important to me.  I truly believe that the Bible is true, and that Jesus is the one and only way to Heaven.  It is my hope that whoever reads this page, or any of my poetry will come to the realization that they need to "...confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe with your heart that He is risen from the dead." (Romans 9:9-10).   There truly is no other way to be in a relationship with God.  You cannot be "good enough" on your own merits, you cannot purchase your way, and you can't even be cute enough to get yourself a place in Heaven.  "...You must be born again." (John 3).   The simple truth of Jesus is that He alone is Lord, He died for your sins, and you have to put your faith and trust in Him alone.  Please don't go through life without making this right decision.  We are here for such a short time, and the way to truly live is to live for Him.
